Books, Email, Student IDAs soon as you've registered for classes, it's time to get your UMass Boston Student ID card. You'll need to bring another form of picture ID (driver's license or passport) with you to the Student ID Office located in the Office of Student Life. View hours and location. After you have obtained your student ID, drop by the Customer Service Center to set up your student email account. This email account is free and is the best way to keep up to date on all sorts of important information coming from all corners of the university. If you prefer, you can have mail sent to this account forwarded to another address (such as Hotmail, Yahoo, AOL).
