Environmental Analytical Facility
The Environmental Analytical Facility (EAF) at the University of Massachusetts Boston is a collaboration between the Environmental, Earth, and Ocean Sciences (EEOS) Department and the Biology Department. The EAF is home to shared environmental analytical instrumentation and sample processing laboratories. The EAF is mostly supported by the EEOS Department and a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF Award # 09-42371; DBI:MRI-RI2; PIs: Hannigan and Christian). The goal of the EAF is to provide access to instrumentation and laboratories to UMass Boston students, faculty, and staff and outside users.
