About Us
The Entrepreneurship Center complements and enhances entrepreneurial education at UMass Boston, providing hands-on practice and experience in building start-up businesses and entrepreneurial careers. The EC provides workshops, events, scholarships, and one on one mentoring with a significant entrepreneur advisory board in order to help students interested in launching their own businesses or launching their careers in start-up companies in the greater Boston area.
Within the EC, we have the Student Entrepreneurship Program (StEP) which connects students with paid internships in sales, marketing, software development, quality assurance, IT support, and finance in many of the best high tech start-ups in Massachusetts.
