Student Entrepreneur Program (StEP) Internships
We all envision UMass Boston students finding careers in which they can grow and thrive. Since our opening in 2009, we have seen many UMass Boston students finding exciting careers in Boston's startup economy!
The Student Entrepreneur Program (StEP) is a program designed for students interested in building a career in the entrepreneur economy and for companies who are looking for student talent that can grow with them.
We have placed students in more than 100 internships in the following areas:
Marketing - Market research, CRM management, SEO, internet marketing, email marketing
Sales - Inbound and outbound prospecting, qualification, appointment setting
Development - QA and scripting, code development, web development
IT/Ops - Desktop and IT support, web support, operations and facilities assistance
Support - 1st level tech support queue administrator
Finance - Accounting assistance, business modeling, financial research
International - Foreign language verbal, written, and translation support
