The Office of Institutional Research and Policy Studies (OIRP) serves the University by providing timely, reliable data in support of policy formation, decision making, and planning.

OIRP is the primary source for official campus statistics, complying with federal, state and University reporting standards and requirements. We co-ordinate or complete the major college guides and professional association surveys. We conduct student surveys and special research studies in support of university policy formation and accountability.

Through the preparation and maintenance of the official university reporting data, we provide information and analysis in support of campus goal setting, enrollment management, and resource allocation as well as monitoring progress towards goals and objectives. OIRP assists in environmental scanning, benchmarking and peer analysis.

We produce a regular series of data reports and we make as much information as possible available through this website, including a glossary of terms shown within the Statistical Portrait.
