Amy Shuai Wang
Research Associate
Amy Shuai Wang received her BS in Chemistry from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China and her MSF degree at UMass Boston. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Finance at Temple University. Amy has worked on several projects on investment sentiment index and options backdating. Her research interests include International Finance, Derivatives, Econometrics Application in Finance.
Yu Zhang
Research Assistant
Yu Zhang received her Bachelor of Management (concentration in Financial Management) in June 2011, from Central University of Finance and Economics in Beijing, China. Currently, she is pursuing her MSF at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. Her research interests include Corporate Finance, International Finance, and the implications of accounting information for firms’ future performance.
Iris Ran
Research Assistant
Iris Ran is currently pursuing Master of Science in Finance at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. She has completed her dual-degree of International Economic Law and Finance in East China University of Political Science and Law. After graduation, she won the internship opportunity in King&Wood, one of the leading and largest law firms in China. She has assisted the senior associate to negotiate and draft Asset Management Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements and Strategic Plan Agreements with international funds. Her research interests include International Finance, Corporate Finance and Portfolio Investment.
Zhilu Lin
Research Assistant
Zhilu Lin received her Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Management (concentration in Finance) in June 2011, from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in Guangzhou, China. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Finance at UMass Boston. Zhilu is working on her Master’s thesis focusing on Post-Earning Announcement Drift. Her goal is to acquire research skills and to develop professional analytical skills in finance and accounting.
Xin Jiang
Research Assistant
Xin Jiang is currently a MSF student in the College of Management in University of Massachusetts, Boston. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management from Southeast University in Nanjing, China. She is eager to apply and expand her theoretical knowledge and gain real-world experience through the Financial Services Forum. Her primary focus in finance is portfolio investment and corporate finance. Finance intrigues her and, she wishes to pursue a career as an investment analyst upon graduation.
