Athletics and Recreation at UMass Boston provides a wide array of athletic and recreational opportunities for students, alumni, faculty and staff. The university sponsors 18 varsity teams: nine for men and nine for women. In addition, we offer intramural and recreational programs for students, staff, and faculty. UMass Boston is a Division III member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. We compete in the East Coast Athletic Conference, the Little East Conference, and ECAC East Hockey. Your support goes a long way in strengthening UMass Boston athletics and enriching the opportunities the university provides.
