Carlos Salas is a graduate of the Exercise and Health Sciences program at Umass Boston.

Born and raised in Boston, he graduated from one of Boston's top public high schools. He was a recipient of the Boston Globe Taylor scholarship which allowed him to pursue a degree in health science. Upon graduation from Umass Boston, Carlos joined the GoKids Boston team as an exercise physiologist.
