Work with our Students
The University of Massachusetts Boston has long been recognized for its preparation of diverse, culturally competent students with a deep determination to succeed and an abiding commitment to giving back to the community.
UMass Boston works with over 600 employers each year and presents a variety of opportunities for corporations to meet and work with our students. Each spring, the university hosts its Career Expo in the Campus Center Ballroom. The Career Expo brings together 90 employers and over 600 prospective employees representing both students and alumni. In addition to the Career Expo, industry-specific career fairs occur during fall semester, including “Meet the Firms Night” for accounting majors, and human services career fairs.
Corporations may also participate in our on-campus Interviewing program, which allows them to schedule information sessions, accept resumes from candidates and conduct campus interviews. Employers may also post job and internship listings with the Office of Career Services. Students and alumni view listings in the Career Resource Library and through Job Bulletin, a free bi-weekly email publication.
