Institute for Learning and Teaching
The Institute for Learning and Teaching (ILT), a unit of the University of Massachusetts Boston's College of Education and Human Development, was founded in 1970 to carry out the university’s commitment to public service in Boston’s urban communities. Today, the ILT continues to specialize in university, school, and community-based collaborations, with a particular emphasis on urban education and multicultural concerns.
