“Huru” means hello and goodbye in an aboriginal Australian language—appropriate for this massive sculpture of recycled steel. Its upper I-beams are like outstretched arms that greet visitors and bid them farewell. The six-ton top section rotates and rocks in the wind, defying its weight and mass.
