Poetry Reading: Robert Polito
4 p.m., Campus Center Bookstore. Award winning poet Poet Robert Polito will join us to read from his latest book of poetry Hollywood & God (2009). Robert is currently the Director of Writing Programs and a Professor of Writing at the New School in New York City. His works include Savage Art: A Biography of Jim Thompson, which received the National Book Critics Circle Award and an Edgar; Doubles (a book of poems); A Reader's Guide to James Merrill's The Changing Light at Sandover; and At the Titan's Breakfast: Three Essays on Byron's Poetry.
