New Incubator in Boston for Startups

The Venture Development Center was opened on May 1, 2009 by the University of Massachusetts to help business, university, and student founders in the Greater Boston area launch startups.

The 18,000 square-foot flexible, furnished office, lab and meeting workspace overlooking the harbor islands, designed by award winning Sasaki Associates, Inc., is located on the campus of the University of Massachusetts Boston. It has quickly become a popular entrepreneurial meeting spot in Boston for events, talks, and receptions.

But the Venture Development Center is much more than an inspiring physical location - we are a community of entrepreneurs focused on launching. The current startup residents are joined by a entrepreneur in residence with strong ties to the local investor community who provides venture mentoring and sources startup interns. Our entire team is dedicated to accelerate your time to investment and market, while keeping your costs to a minimum.
