Steps for getting a BlackBerry/Cell

  2. Someone with budget signing authority submits Cell Phone Service Order Form to order the device and set up a user voice and data plans.
  3. Telecom receives the device after approximately 5 days and notifies Helpdesk. If the user currently has a cellular device, Telecom will need that device before their number can be moved to their new device.
  4. Networks is notified that a new device needs to be activated on the BES server.
  5. The user is contacted and informed the device is ready to be installed.
