Dial-up Access

Free limited dial-up access to the UMass Boston network is offered by UMass Boston to faculty, staff, employees at off-campus locations, and students in good standing with the University.

To access the network, you need:

  • A valid UMASS BOSTON email account for Student, Staff, or Faculty.
  • A dial-up (PPP) account. If you don’t have one, see the instructions below. (make anchor below at at “Configure dial-up…” and link this line to it.)

Note: You cannot use this account to access a PeopleSoft Application, for example, WISER.
