To provide assistance to users of the Finance/Grants system, a three-tiered system has been established to route calls for help to the appropriate person. A specialized software system, called HEAT, links the IT Service Desk (Tier 1), Finance experts on campus (Tier 2) and the technical support team located in Shrewsbury (Tier 3).
