Finance/e*mpac Training and Information Sessions
Finance/Grants v8.9
In order to access v8.9, you will need to attend a training class. If you had a User ID and password for Finance v7.5, your new User ID and password will be ready for you at the class. If you have never had access to the Finance system, or if your department or job duties have changed, you need to fill out the required forms and submit them to: Data Custodian, Controller's Office.
Those members of the campus community who need to use financial data or to make purchases may take advantage of several options for becoming familiar with both the PeopleSoft system and the policies and procedures governing financial activities on campus. Instructor-led training in a computer lab, one-on-one sessions, and information sessions are offered on an ongoing basis by the campus training lead and by staff members of the central Finance offices. Some web-based training that users may complete at their desks is also available. As courses are scheduled, finance users receive an email containing the dates and times and instructions for registering.
For information on training opportunities, please contact Linda Perrotto.
Computer-Based Tutorials
Before you attend a class, it is suggested that you familiarize yourself with the system by completing the Navigation tutorial. If you will be accessing or generating reports, tutorials are also available for both departmental and grant reports.
