Getting Access to the Human Resources/e*mpac System

Based on your role in your department, certain aspects of your position may require that you have access to the Human Resources/e*mpac System:

  • Enter timekeeping information, view leave accruals and print attendance reports for your department.
  • View personnel data relevant to completing Personnel Action forms for members of your department.
  • Run queries to support HR transactions.

To obtain a User ID and password, print and complete the following forms:

  1. Human Resources Access Request Form
  2. UMass Computing Awareness and Data Security Compliance Statement

Return these forms with all required signatures to:

Human Resources
Quinn, 3rd Floor

You will be contacted about training.  When your User ID and password have been created, you will receive them in a packet, along with other information about accessing the system, once you have completed your training.
