The Human Resources system includes the following modules:
- Human Resources, in which biographic/demographic and job-related data on each employee are maintained;
- Benefits, which tracks the benefits to which each employee is entitled;
- Payroll, which handles salary data and issues bi-weekly paychecks;
- Time and Labor, in which an employee's accrued time is maintained.
Departmental Access
While staff members in the Human Resources department are responsible for entering and updating most of the data in the system, the timekeeping procedure is decentralized. Departmental timekeepers throughout the campus enter time for their departments and submit bi-weekly reports to Human Resources. In addition, staff members who handle departmental personnnel actions may obtain access to view relevant data in the system.
