Project ISIS Go Live Update - As of March 13, 2006
The University’s Boston, Dartmouth, and Lowell campuses have been working towards the implementation of a new Student Administration system (Project ISIS - Intercampus Student Administrative Computing) and have completed the final go live! As you may know, last spring the project shifted to a “staggered” approach for the campus implementations. As part of the staggered approach, the Student Records, Student Financials (billing) and Financial Aid functionality was implemented at the Lowell campus in March 2005. The Dartmouth and Boston campuses received Student Records and Student Financials (Billing) functionality in July and November 2005.
As of Monday, March 6, 2006 the Financial Aid and One Stop Offices at the Boston and Dartmouth campuses are able to successfully utilize Financial Aid functionality within ISIS system. In an effort to monitor progress and communicate effectively with all impacted audiences, the ISIS team continues to hold daily check in calls with the campuses. These meetings are important to ensure accurate and continuous communications through the initial stabilization period and will be held throughout the stabilization period until further notice.
Once again, thank you to all of the resources that have contributed to this Herculean effort. There is always more ahead but we have achieved some very significant milestones with these initial go live
