Description
Welcome to IT Telecommunication User Services
We provide the University's Telephone and Wireless Communications Functionality including:
- Fax Services
- Customer support for telephone services
- MAC activities (moves, adds, and changes) coordination based on HEAT ticketing system for telephone services
Activities:
- Provide fax services for departments/offices, faculty and staff
- Maintenance of the Compco database which is the source for Telecom's bill processing, telephone directory as well as other related services offered
- Provide customer support and services pertaining to the phone system, voicemail, telephone directory database
- Troubleshooting feature interactions between voice mail and the PBX
- Create a one-source database for employee information using HR Peoplesoft, Microsoft Outlooks and Compco Mysoft.net
- Journal Entries-Monthly recharges for other Telecommunications services not covered by the University's bill processing system, AT & T, Verizon, Third Party Vendors, Operator Assisted Calls, Verizon Conference Bridge
- Other manaual recharges, cell phones and accessories order, headsets, cable and jack installation
- Maintain online information for Telecom Services through the IT website
