Create a Web Folder to Access Xythos
1. Open Internet Explorer. Log on to Xythos with your UMass Boston email address and password.
2. In the Toolbar, click Launch Web Folder.
A new browser window opens, named https://xythos.umb.edu/users/youremail@umb.edu that displays your Xythos Web Folder.
3. On your desktop, go to Start > My Network Places. Your Xythos Web folder (named .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) on xythos.umb.edu) should appear in the My Network Places window.
4. To create a shortcut for your Xythos folder, copy and paste the folder from the My Network Places window to your desktop. You will be prompted for your UMB email address and password when you first open this folder.
5. You can now save, copy/paste, or drag and drop files and folders directly to your Xythos Web folder. These files and folders will automatically appear in your Xythos account.
