The Distance Learning Video Production Center operates and supports innovative distance learning classrooms and studios using a variety of communication technologies to reach local, UMass System, regional, and national audiences.
The Distance Learning Video Production Center Supports
- Videoconferencing, both origination and receipt. Distance learning and video conferencing origination can include computer simulations, videotape and computer-mediated application sharing, and other advanced information sharing capabilities.
- University of Massachusetts system courses and regional outreach.
The Video Production Center Provides
- Broadcast-quality video production and postproduction services
- Videotape, CD, and DVD duplication
- C and Ku-Band satellite receiving equipment
- Streaming video recording and archival services
