SP3-1	Accessibiity	On a Vista 4 Course with JAWS running, after launching the Content Browser pop-up through Add Attachments some significant problems result: It is not possible to open My Computer through the keyboard. The My Computer button is very cryptically labeled for JAWS. The label that JAWS reads is entirely different from the label that appears on the screen. The "Click here to select files individually" link is not accessible through the keyboard; attempting to access the link through the Tab button and pressing enter will cause a freeze of the application.
SP3-2	Announcements	After creating an Announcements without a Start Date, when attempting to Send the Announcement, a warning message does not display, and instead an unexpected system exception occurs.
SP3-3	Assessments & Questions	It is not possible for Students to view statistics from the Assessments tool under the Student View tab even though the Statistics have been made available. They are viewable from actual Student logins.
SP3-4	Assessments & Questions	When creating a Category for a Question to a Survey, entering white spaces into the filename does not display correctly. Only one contained whitespace is being embedded into the title of the created category. This may cause confusion as filenames can incorrectly display as duplicates.
SP3-5	Assessments & Questions	If the user enters an incomplete or invalid Start Date while editing an Assessments Survey, no error or warning message occurs.
SP3-6	Assessments & Questions	When creating a Fill-in-the-Blank question using the HTML editor, placing a special character between the [ ] brackets for a Blank, then the characters are "escaped" in the answer, or not translated literally, when generating the answers.
SP3-7	Assignments	When attempting to access the Assignment Dropbox, removing a Group assignment causes an exception.
SP3-8	Browser Checker	Vista 4.2.3 is supported on Safari 3.0 on Mac OS 10.4.
SP3-9	Discussions	If a Topic is marked as Hidden and is in a Discussion Topic that has a link on the homepage, then within the homepage, there is no indication that the Topic is Hidden.
SP3-10	Discussions	Students are now able to peer review each individual threaded message.
SP3-11	Gradebook Service	After updating to 4.2, SP1, if an Assignment with a Grading Form is created, the appropriate column is created in the Gradebook, but after making a change to the Assignment through Edit Properties, another column is created with a "1" on the edit of the column name.
SP3-12	Gradebook Service	After the update to 4.1.2/6.1.2, Hotfix 1, completed and graded Grading Forms no longer display as graded
SP3-13	IMS API/3rd Party Integration	During an LMB import, French Characters are not imported successfully.
SP3-14	Learning Modules	This error occurs when the Media Library tool is disabled. If a user uploads and overwrites HTML files saved in the Templates, the Learning Modules reference the older, overwritten files. This occurs in the Teach and Student View tabs.
SP3-15	Learning Modules	There are issues with the indentation for hidden items.
SP3-16	Presentation Settings	A system exception occurs when entering the Student View tab from Designer or Instructor access. This occurs in all Sections whose Section Start date has not yet been reached, and when the Course availability is set to : "Not available before section starts/after section ends."
SP3-17	Search	Searching for Assessments in the Advanced Search does not work properly; the results are not correct.
SP3-18	Calendar	After setting an Until Date for a Recurring Calendar Entry, the Entry does not display on that Until Date, and instead ends the day before. It should extend to that Until Date.
	Unresolved Known Issues - Resolution TBA
1	Accessibiity	When a user adds themselves to a course, an error is encountered when clicking that course from their Course List: "You do not have access to this Learning Context. Please click this link to return to WebCT". The only way to clear this error message and get into the course is to log out of Vista 4.2 and then log back in.
2	Accessibiity	The Alt attribute is not displayed when viewing the View Source Page. Right-clicking an image frame and selecting the View Source option should display the Alt attribute.
3	Assessments & Questions	If a user's My Files quota has been exceeded, they receive an unexplained system exception when attempting to create assessment questions.
4	Assignments	An Instructor can access assignments even after a learning group associated with an assignment has been deleted. This is not an issue with creating a group assignment but with accessing assignments after a learning group associated with an assignment has been deleted.
5	Assignments	In Vista 4.2, the Grading Form preview disappears for students when viewing assignments that are in their Inbox. Grading Criteria still appears for alphanumeric and numeric assignments. The Grading Form preview appears only after the student has submitted their assignment.
6	Assignments	In Vista 4.2, the Grading Form preview is not available to students on assignments when viewing them that are in their Inbox. The grading form preview appears only after the student has submitted their assignment.
7	Assignments	Linux/Solaris verison 6 or 8: An assignment does not "Show Item" if you select "All Students individually" for the "Assignment recipients" option.
8	Assignments	It is not possible to re-order Assignment submissions by the Assigned To column.
9	Calendar	Using Add Entry in the Calendar tool results in a default to the current date instead of the date selected before clicking Add Entry. The date should default to the original date selected.
10	Change Settings Local Content	The Eastern U.S./Canada, or Eastern Standard Time zone setting does not adjust for Daylight Savings Time, and displays incorrectly.
11	Chat & Whiteboard	When SSL is in use on the Virtual Chat server (at the server level and not at the load balancer) the chained certificate fails. The certificate from Verisign does not work in combination with the socket server. If the default values are left intact for the certificate (@SERVER_CERTIFICATE_FILE_NAME@ and @SERVER_KEY_FILE_NAME@) the SocketServer logs fill up with messages that the certificate files cannot be found. If values are entered in these files a pop-up message appears every 20-30 minutes informing the user that the server company isn't trusted.
12	Content Import/Export	When trying to re-upload multiple files that already exist in the My Files area, the "Resolve Naming Conflicts" window appears but it does not display the "Replace existing files" option. Only a "Skip" option displays. It is only possible to re-upload existing files one at a time.
13	Content Pages	Internet Explorer: Downloading linked files from the content organizer or a Learning Module causes Internet Explorer to display the Information Bar. As a result of this behavior, the user is returned to the My Blackboard page on accepting the download and must navigate to the page again.
14	Content Pages	The Insert link icon does not function after enabling the HTML editor in the File Manager when creating a File. This has been observed in the Domain Admin role.
15	Course Toolbar	A custom link appearing under Course Tools Menu appears to be broken, causing the course menu to expand the entire width of the page. You are unable to remove the custom link in the Course Menu.
16	Discussions	The Bar Graph is missing in the Print Preview page of Discussion threaded Reviews. After logging in as a Designer, create a threaded topic with the "All evaluations" option. Create posts and review the posts. Then log in as a Student and navigate to "View all Reviews" page and then to the Print Preview page. The Rating Distribution Graph is not displayed correctly in Print Preview window. All the details should be displayed correctly in the Print Preview page.
17	Discussions	When creating a Category for a Discussion Board that allows HTML entry, HTML entered into the Description area is not rendered.
18	Drag and Drop	The client proxy settings are not honored by the My Computer applet when attempting to upload files. The Java console reports that the applet is attempting to connect to the server directly: network: Connecting socket://mantis.pslab.com:80 with proxy=DIRECT
19	File Manager	After an update to Application Pack 2, upon login, if a user selects "Cancel" for the JAVA security certificate, the MyComputer icon displays as broken, and it is no longer possible to upload files.
20	Gradebook - Instructor	Internet Explorer: Grade Book rows are misaligned when the Japanese language is in use. Each subsequent Grade Book row is 1 additional pixel out alignment.
21	Gradebook - Instructor Gradebook - Student Gradebook Service	Students cannot preview the Grading Form for assignments.
22	IMS API/3rd Party Integration	Attempting to do an IMS import through the User Interface does not work properly: no Course Content is copied and no members are imported.
23	Learning Modules	Internet Explorer 7: When users access a section in Vista 4.2 and navigate to the Learning Modules area, clicking on a learning module and then clicking on the items in the Table of Contents results in the TOC pane shrinking with each click.
24	Local Content	Students are unable to view local content created by a Designer.
25	Mail Tool	Instructors cannot download email attachments to My Computer. When they attempt this they receive an error message: "This page is not intended for display."
26	Mail Tool	Internet Explorer 6 and 7: When a user receives a new email and opens it, an attachment cannot be added. The email must be opened and then closed and then an attachment can be added.
27	Organizers	A folder created in Course Content with the Hidden setting turned on is not visible to students, but is added to Course Content area on Course Tools menu in Template View.
28	Search	When an Administrator uses the "Edit Section Properties" within the "Section Search" area under the Administration tab, they can only use the option once.
29	Calendar	After setting an Until Date for a Recurring Calendar Entry, the Entry does not display on that Until Date, and instead ends the day before. It should extend to that Until Date.
