Writers' Workshop The writers' workshop is open to writers of fiction and nonfiction, poetry, playwriting, and translation. It involves one or two weeks of working sessions and individual consultations with distinguished writers.
Joiner Center Collections As part of its mission to study the effects of the Vietnam War on our society, the center has collected manuscripts, photographs, and videos that document veterans' issues and experiences. These include photographs by Phillip Jones Griffiths and Wendy Watriss.
Fellowships The Joiner Center collaborates with various organizations to facilitate research about the diaspora of war and civil strife.
MASSACHUSETTS CULTURAL COUNCIL Fiscal Year 2012 Grants William Joiner Center, to promote, encourage and disseminate literary, artistic and cultural expression of the subjects of war and social consequences, political violence and social justice.
