Program Description
The program is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education, Care and serves 61 children. There is one classroom for toddlers (ages 15 months to 2 years 8 months), two preschool classrooms (ages 2 years 9 months to 4 years 3 months), and one pre-k classroom (ages 4 years 3 months to 6 years). Our staff /child ratio is 2:9 for toddlers and 2:16 for preschool and pre-k. Professional teaching staff is supplemented by students, interns, and volunteers from UMass Boston.
Although our primary commitment is to UMass Boston students, we also provide full-time or part-time care for children of faculty and staff as well as families in the community. We serve a nutritious breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack each day. Food is prepared and delivered by an outside caterer. Menus are posted monthly.
