Hours of Operation
The UMass Boston Early Learning Center is open year round, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am until 5:30 pm. The program will be closed in observance of the following holidays:
- Labor Day
- Columbus Day
- Veterans Day
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas Day
- New Year’s Day
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- Presidents’ Day
- Patriots’ Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
A list of the exact dates for these holidays is distributed each year in September. Additional closure dates may be scheduled during the year for cleaning or teacher training, but the program will not be closed for more than 14 total days per year.
Fees
| Toddlers (Ages 15 months – 2 years 8 months) | $52/day |
| Preschool (Ages 2 year 9 months – 6 years) | $40/day |
Financial Assistance for Families
When applicable and as space permits, this fee may be subsidized by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. See the following page for more details about eligibility requirements. Child care vouchers are also accepted.
All parents must sign a fee agreement and present verification of family income in order to qualify for tuition subsidies. Additional documentation, such as verification of Harbor Point residency, social security numbers, and children’s birth certificates, may also be required. These requirements are determined by the funding source and will be explained to you at the time of enrollment.
