K-12 Internships
The Nantucket Field Station offers a variety of opportunities for kids to help out for a few days, during the summer, or throughout a semester. Summer Education Coordinator Leonard Germinara directs the Junior Naturalists and helps to oversee the Junior Scientists.
A science or natural history internship (unpaid) is available for high school students and beginning college students.
We offer three positions:
- Interns work as lab or field volunteers.
- Junior Rangers serve as naturalists working with the Education Coordinator.
