Campus Notes Calendar of Events	Charlie Titus, director of athletics, welcomed Bill Russell, former National Basketball Association star and coach, to UMass Boston on Thursday, July 19 (shown here). Russell was one of the many sports legends and rookies who attended the 2001 Shaw’s Pro Summer League, which returned to UMass Boston for the third consecutive year from July 16 - 22. The week was a great success, boasting an attendance of more than 33,000 people who came to watch Massachusetts’ best amateur athletes compete in the summer games.
