Campus Notes Calendar of Events	Paul Evans, Boston police commissioner (Boston State College ‘74), Chancellor Jo Ann Gora, and City of Cambridge Mayor Anthony D. Galluccio were one of the many who celebrated the kick-off for “National Night Out” at the Boston Police Headquarters on Tuesday, August 7 (shown here). The event is an annual nationwide event which commemorates citizens’ ability to keep their communities safe through neighborhood watch programs and by working with police. Approximately twelve neighborhoods in the Greater Boston area held outdoor celebrations. UMass Boston is a member of the Advisory Board for Crime Watch and a sponsor for National Night Out.
