Gubernatorial Forum Series on Elder Issues Will Be Held at UMass Boston in JuneBoston, (MA)-The Learning in Retirement Program at the University of Massachusetts Boston, called LETS (Life Enrichment Transition Studies), and UMass Boston's Gerontology Alumni Association will continue a series of forums featuring the Commonwealth's gubernatorial candidates in June. The first forum in May by Robert Reich was well attended. The next three forums will be held at UMass Boston Campus. The following is the schedule: Shannon O'BrienWednesday, June 12, 10:00-11:30 a.m. Steve Grossman Tuesday, June 25, 1:00-2:30 p.m. Tom BirminghamWednesday, June 26, 10:00-11:30 a.m. The purpose of these events is to provide an opportunity for the public to learn more about each candidate's views and plans for addressing elders' issues.
