More ISC Soil Trucked

Next week the Division of Capital Asset Management and the construction manager Walsh Brothers will truck another 2,000 cubic yards of soil from the Integrated Sciences Complex (ISC) to a disposal site in Berlin, Mass. Beginning at 6 a.m. for about a week, six trucks will each make three trips a day to remove the excess soil from the mounds on the north side of the site.
Crews continue to do ground improvement work to reinforce the soil under future utility, sidewalk, and other hardscape areas. Concrete pile caps are being installed in the service and supply tunnel construction area and other reinforcing steel and concrete work continues on the ISC foundation.
