CM Students Become Bloomberg Certified

In spring 2011, the College of Management acquired the Bloomberg Professional data service allowing CM students to become Bloomberg Certified. In addition, CM students members of undergraduate the Student Managed Fund (SMF) were able to train and use this platform to manage their portfolio. One of the student portfolio managers noted, "The introduction to Bloomberg and the opportunity to get certified was one of the best aspects of this class". CM will be participating in the “Bloomberg for Education” national symposium in NYC this month. College of Management faculty are also in the process of integrating the platform into classroom teaching.
