Maintenance Window

In order to better serve the UMass Boston community, Information Technology Services Division (ITSD) has established a weekly maintenance window for servers, enterprise technology equipment and network services.
Wednesday 10:00pm-2:00am (the day after Microsoft critical updates)
Sunday 6:00am-10:00am (any planned or unplanned maintenance)
This fixed maintenance window is being introduced to remove the unpredictability of service disruptions and to provide the University to install required hardware, software and security upgrades on a regular basis.
Maintenance windows are generally used to perform non-urgent work. Urgent work will always be scheduled as quickly as possible with as much notification as possible and may be performed outside of the regular maintenance window.
ITSD will notify the University community via IT News about all planned maintenance in advance.
