Massachusetts Small Business Development Center Client Wins $50,000 from Mass Challenge

For the third year in a row, the Massachusetts Small Business Development Center at UMass Boston has supported a new venture client who has succeeded in winning a $50,000 cash award from MassChallenge, an annual $1M global startup competition and accelerator program. The team won an additional $10,000 special award from NYC VenCorps. Francisco Aguilar and David Young have founded Bounce Imaging, an ultra-low-cost, easy-to-use imaging system to meet the needs of soldiers and first responders, allowing them to explore potentially hazardous spaces without exposing them to harm.
