Josh Reid, Director of Native American & Indigenous Studies
Come celebrate the launch of one of UMass Boston's newest programs, Native American and Indigenous Studies, on Oct. 31 from 5–7:30 p.m. in Snowden Auditorium (Wheatley Hall, 1st Floor). We will be screening the award-winning documentary, We Still Live Here, a film about the language reclamation project of the Mashpee Wampanoag. Following the film will be a discussion with Anne Makepeace (director) and others. The local drum group Urban Thunder will also be participating in the event. For more information about this event, please contact the program director, Dr. Josh Reid.
