PostSecret Creator Frank Warren to Speak at UMass Boston

Frank Warren, the founder and curator of PostSecret, will speak and sign books at the University of Massachusetts Boston at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, February 23, in the Campus Center Ballroom.

Warren has gained a huge following with his PostSecret Project, a collection of over 500,000 highly personal and artfully decorated postcards mailed anonymously from around the world, displaying secrets people never voice. Warren receives hundreds of cards daily, some of which have been published in a series of books which have reached No. 1 on the New York Times Best Seller list.

Post card images are also posted at postsecret.com, with more than 480 million visitors. Through a link on the PostSecret website, hundreds of thousands of dollars have been raised for the National Suicide Prevention Hotline.

The event, "PostSecret Live," is sponsored by the Student Arts and Events Council.
