Professor Randy Albelda Receives Ford Foundation Grant

Professor of Economics and Senior Research Associate of the Center for Social Policy Randy Albelda recently received a $50,000 grant from the Ford Foundation to explore the links between low-wage work and youth outcomes. She will be working with Professor Lisa Dodson of Boston College. A main component of the project entails generating three connected concepts papers that will draw out key relevant themes and outcomes in the major strands of contemporary policy, advocacy, funding, and research on the relationship between parental low-wage work and youth development.
