Professor Siqueira Speaks at the 2nd Semana de Saúde Coletiva in Brazil

Eduardo Siqueira, associate professor of public and community service and coordinator of the Transnational Brazilian Project at the Mauricio Gastón Institute for Latino Community Development and Public Policy, delivered two lectures at the II Semana de Saúde Coletiva (Public Health Week) in the Federal University of Mato Grosso, Brazil. The first lecture was titled "Evidence to Support a Single Payer Health System in the U.S." and the second one was "Environmental Justice in the United States."  

Professor Jairnilson Paim from Universidade Federal da Bahia and Professor Luiz Augusto Facchini from Universidade Federal de Pelotas were among the invited speakers and lecturers. The event was organized to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Graduate Program in Public Health at the Federal University of Mato Grosso, and it was held from November 26 to November 30, 2012.
