State Street Networking Reception Builds Connections

The third annual State Street/UMass Networking Reception was held on November 15, 2011, at the UMass Club. Over 100 attendees, alumni from UMass Amherst, Boston, Dartmouth, and Lowell, networked with their State Street colleagues.

The event featured remarks by current UMass Boston student and State Street Scholar, De'Shawn Washington, UMass President Robert Caret, UMass Boston Chancellor J. Keith Motley, and UMass Amherst Isenberg School of Management Dean Mark Fuller. David C. O'Leary, executive vice president and chief administrative officer of State Street Corporation, who earned his MBA from UMass Amherst in 1981, also commented on the growing connections between the University of Massachusetts and State Street Corporation.
