University College greeted hundreds of students April 18 during its first annual “Summer Starts Here” information event in the University of Massachusetts Boston’s Campus Center.

Program directors, faculty, and staff were on hand to answer questions and sign people up for summer programs on Nantucket and trips to Ireland, the Caribbean, and China.

Students learned about the more than 680 courses being offered online, on campus, and overseas this summer as well as archaeological digs at Gore Place in Waltham, Hassanamesit Woods in Grafton, and Mayan ruins in Belize.

Even if you missed the “Summer Starts Here” event, you can still register for classes at summer.umb.edu.
