UMass Boston Hosts First Annual Public Safety Week

The Public Safety Department is hosting the University of Massachusetts Boston’s first-ever Public Safety Week on campus starting Monday, Sept. 19.

Police Chief James Overton says the week will be spent informing the campus community about safety and emergency preparedness issues.

Domestic Violence Prevention Week Preview

Active Shooter Awareness Video and Panel Discussion for Students

Noon–1 p.m. and 3–4 p.m.

  • Drawings for gift cards and other giveaways
  • Opportunity to sign up for Emergency Notifications
  • Refreshments will be served

Tuesday, Sept. 20

Public Safety Open House
