Change in WISER Login

GOOD NEWS!
Beginning on October 17, 2011, you will use your UMass Boston campus email user ID and password to log into WISER Student Self Service.
Here are two steps you can take now to prepare for this change:
1. Make sure you know your campus email user ID and password.
If you have forgotten your user ID, log into WISER and look for your email address in the Student Center under Personal Information.
If you have forgotten your password, provided you previously set up the Self Service Password Management System, you can create a new password at this website: https://spmt.umb.edu
If necessary, you can go to the IT Service Desk on the 3rd floor of the Healey Library for help in resetting your password. The Service Desk is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. If you are not on campus, you can contact the Service Desk by calling 617.287.5220 or by sending a message from your personal email account to itservicedesk@umb.edu.
2. Protect your personal, academic, and financial data.
When you are finished using WISER, get in the habit of clicking Sign-out on the top right of each page. Do not simply close the webpage by clicking on the red X at the top right corner of the page. If you fail to sign out when you are using a public computer, such as those in the computer labs on campus or in the One Stop, the next user may be able to access your personal, academic, and financial data.
