Community Engagement
Community Engagement is at the heart of the mission of UMass Boston. Hundreds of UMass Boston faculty have dedicated thousands of hours to community engagement. OFD collaborates with the Office of Community Partnerships to offer assistance to faculty who are involved in community engagement.
A new collaborative initiative, the Civic Engagement Scholars Initiative (CESI), provides faculty/department-community partnerships resources to redesign curriculum to include civic engagement. For more infomration see the CESI page.
