Anne Flaherty has spent more than a decade researching this topic in archives and libraries in a five-state area. In fall 2010, she presented some of these findings at Fairfield University’s “Irish College 2010” and in June 2011, published a blog titled “From John Kehoe’s Cell.” She has two works currently under revision, a nonfiction manuscript titled The Myth of the “Molly Maguires” and a historical novel titled The Hibernians: A Love Story; and is currently writing a stage play titled The Hibernians based on this research.
