They all co-host New Bedford Channel 95’s cable television show Authors With Borders Presents. Joyce Walsh has written four mystery novels including The Pittsley Country Chronicles and Winterkill, and has a mainstream fiction novel and a nonfiction murder investigation blog SLEUTH-blog. Alberta Sequeira is a four-time award-winning author with her memoirs, which includes A Spiritual Renewal—A Journey to Medjugorje. Her current nonfiction project is an edited book for alcoholics and addicts that will be written by them to learn what is and isn’t working with their recovery programs. Willie Wideman-Pleasants is retired from public sector work and loves sharing her poetry with the world in spoken forums. She is the facilitator for the OLLI course “Storytelling at Tea.” She hosts her own BNN cable television show, “Willie’s Web,” and has two published collections of poetry and short stories, Ain’t That the Truth and Make Truth a Habit. Pat Perry holds a degree in biology from Southern Connecticut University, works as a seafood inspector for the federal government and volunteers at local animal shelters. Her debut novel, Quest for the Source of Darkness, was a finalist for the 2007 Allbook Reviewer’s Choice Award, and her trilogy based on it has received rave reviews. Her most recent publication, Old Gooseberry’s Dilemma, is a comic novella.
