Professor Herman Hemingway  is a retired UMass Boston professor who has taught criminal law and constitutional law at both university and law school levels. He has also served as a public defender and a lecturer for the U.S. State Department. He and his wife Barbara Hemingway have traveled to more than 17 African countries.
