Judith Griffin has a background as a Registered Nurse, a Master’s degree in Sociology and a Master’s degree in gerontology and is a Ph.D. candidate in gerontology. She is currently teaching gerontology courses online and on campus for UMass Boston. Her work on the social and medical model of wellness for elders has been well received in professional circles.
