Marie Manis, MA, has spent the better part of 35 years in the Greater Boston area, and is a field organizer for Compassion and Choices.  She has been a community advocate around social and economic issues in work and volunteer positions dating back to the 1960s.  She has spent more than 10 years organizing and managing campaigns within the labor movement (SEIU, Teamsters, AFL-CIO), and has worked extensively in university environments (Harvard, UMass, Tufts), local municipalities (Cambridge, Concord), and community organizations (WIBT, TSNE) in roles focused on educating and building support around issues that made a difference in people’s lives. Marie is also a part time actor and model and sings Gospel and other styles of music with local groups.
