1. Beacons on the Point Block Party
   UMass Boston students are invited to join Harbor Point and Peninsula residents for music, food, and fellowship at the third annual Block Party.
2. 2012 Welcome Week Events: September 6
   New and returning UMass Boston students are invited to take part in a community service project and grab a free snack on the way to class.
3. 2012 Welcome Week Events: September 4
   Start the semester with a free snack before class, then come out and support the men's soccer team. Free hot dogs, hamburgers, and drinks are available for the first 100 spectators.
